The Bar
The inn has a cozy bar with carvings rumored to come from Coventry Cathedral after it was bombed during the Second World War. A lovely lounge that offers bar meals and drinks at traditional pub prices.
The cozy seating area and its wood burning fires make this a great place to unwind with a pint or a lovely chilled glass of wine to help wash down some traditional pub food. The inn also has a large beer garden that offers guest the opportunity to enjoy food and drinks outdoors weather permitting of course.
The bar at the inn is popular with the locals and you will be sure to meet a few memorable characters who will be happy to give you a few pointers on your trip and let you know all about Montacute's fascinating history.
The Restaurant
The restaurant at the inn was refurbished in March 2013 and offers a beautiful dinner setting for both guests and residents. The restaurant has a modern contemporary feel whilst keeping the character of the building.
We serve food every day between 12pm - 3pm and evenings between 6pm - 9pm Monday - Saturday, on Sunday until 8:30pm
